We planted 80 red emperor tulips beside the school sign. In addition we each took ten red emperor tulips home and planted them in our yards. It was a beautiful and sunny day in the motor city the temperature was 57 degrees. This was our first time planting tulips it was a great experience. It took us 2 hours to prepare the bed and plant the tulips and put wire mesh down. Danielle Loyd and LaToya Charleston were the two golightly students who particiapted in this assignment.
