I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw a Monarch butterfly flying around some cars as I exited the parking lot of the Albany Visitors Center. I did not see a tag but I could not believe after the cold and snow on Monday, Nov. 8, that I would see any more monarchs this fall. All 25 that I tagged have long left the Albany, NY area weeks ago. Luckily, it was a beautiful weekend and hopefully someone will spot this butterfly heading South! Adios Mariposa! My observation time: I was watching for ___ hours and _4__ minutes.
