I observed for 30 min. Parrots ( Yes, really believe or not, parrots) I believe migrating. There were over 300 female and male of the species, resting in a park in what we call "live" or "texas" oak trees (encino), before taking off in flight. They travel here every year, for a short time, but don't stay long. They delight in making a lot of noise and getting attention of whomever is willing to listen. It is a sight to behold, as they take off without warning as a group to who knows where? Who will let me know, where is there final winter spot?
