Every student in our 2/3 classes at Crestwood planted a tulip bulb in the front of our school. We measured our bulbs and studied their shape before we planted them. We wrote questions about our bulbs and what we are wondering about them over the winter and next spring when the ground gets warmer. We just finished a study of prairie plants which have very long roots, so we are curious to see the what the roots of the tulip will look like. We plan to dig up one tulip bulb from our garden each month to see what it looks like.
