I have two hummers that seem to be here year round. They appear to be female ruby-throats, but the one bird might be a immature male without the red throat markings. I have seen an adult male Ruby-throat trying to get to the feeders. My territorial RTH do their best to chase it away. I watched the fighting going on for most of the day as this intruder went back and forth between the front yard feeder and the backyard feeder. It did manage to get to it and eat, but the females spent the entire time trying to chase it off.
