The temperatures are hovering in the teens this morning and a chill Northeaster is blowing. I barely got the feeders back out a dawn before the hummingbirds started feeding. Due to the cold, the nectar begins to freeze right away, and I have to keep changing it every twenty minutes to half an hour. As soon as I finish one cycle, I have to start all over again. But the little birds seem feisty, despite the cold. Oops! Time for another round of refills. What a day!
