After weighing the tulip bulbs in grams and also measuring their circumference in cm, we planted them in the ground. Today, our weather was unseasonably warm for November (mid 60's). The ground soil was soft. We saw worms and other insects in our dirt. The bulbs were 7 inches deep in the ground. We also put sticks with our names on them to identify our flowers when they emerge.
