We planted our tulips on a relatively warm but windy day. It was the last of a long period of warm days. The high was in the mid 60's. We got them planted just in time. Tuesday was a rainy day and much cooler. We planted 20 tulip bulbs according to Journey North planting directions along with 5 experimental bulbs. The students each took home a bulb to plant at home. We weighed and measured our bulbs and made predictions. We're excited about finding out when our bulbs will emerge and bloom.
