Our night time temperature were dipped down to 40 degrees F; but not yet to 32 degrees F;. I still have three monarchs flying and chasing each other during the days. One male has tattered wings, one female does not have half of upper right wing and the last one is very healthy looking. They love to come out very short time around noon to sip the nectar as long as no wind. Also rearing 12 caterpillars enclosed area of outside milkweed patch. And 3 caterpillars near by are free & wild but watching carefully everyday. My observation time: I was watching for ___ hours and ___ minutes.
