Nine Rumsey Hall kindergarteners planted 40 Red Emperor tulip bulbs outside the dining hall in the horseshoe garden surrounding a flagpole. It was a breezy day and we are hoping that the deer in the area don't sniff out and snack upon our fresh and tasty tulip bulbs. The earth was still soft so it was easy for us to dig a few long trenches, measure them, and sink our happy bulbs down into the earth.
