Mrs. Evans' Fifth Graders planted their official Journey North tulips on Tuesday, November 23, 2010. The temperature was 30 degrees so it was cold outside. The sun was shining and there was no wind. The students saw many earthworms while they were digging. Zaebreauna, Philitia, and Kiana dug a really big hole for all their tulips. They tried to connect their hole to Ausha's and La'Shai's. The students had fun digging in the soil to plant their tulips. They could also plant experimental tulips any way they wanted. Written by La'Shai Clark and Aurelia Hernandez.
