Rufous (1st year female, I think) has been visiting my feeders daily for the past 2-3 weeks. We have observed her various times of the day perched in the crepe myrtle near the feeders. I believe it is the same bird. She has a W shaped gorget on her throat. We are about 250 feet from a cypress swamp and 150' from mixed pine/oak forest.
