It may still be officially be fall but it is winter here. We had a long warm fall and I didn't put my garden to bed till late November.I left my fountain grass up so the birds would have a place to take shelter.Also putting out a higher protein mix and extra suet for the birds.The coopers hawks has been hanging around a lot more. They have to eat too.I have red bellies,white face nuthatches,downys,slate juncos, crows,house sparrows,chick-a-dees,turkeys,hawks,cardinals,and jays.They are all hungry!Take care of your birds and your selves. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Peace be with you.
