We are Stuart Island School . . . a one-room school on a remote island in the San Juan Islands. Two students and the teacher planted our 50 bulbs in a bed front of our school.

We specially marked a bulb for each student as well as the smallest and largest bulb.

We also planted 5 bulbs at 3 1/2 inches and 5 bulbs at 5 inches in depth to compare the differences to the bulbs that are planted at 7 inches.
