Bald Eagles sighting and nests. Hwy. 15 at Lafourche Bayou approx 12 miles SE of Monroe, LA. Two nests found within 150 yards of each other, one particularly large, the other smaller. One eagle was on the tree with the smaller nest; during observation, another eagle joined it. No little ones seen. A pair of eagles are frequently seen in the tree snags standing in the many bodies water in the area. The nests are approx a half mile off the highway (Hwy. 15).
