We have had sun peeping over the top of Binegar Butte [1000 foot elevation] the last two days.
Not a teacher - but do enjoy letting you know when we have birds and butterflies, etc.
Within the last two weeks we have seen mourning doves [in the drive way near the house ] and quail on the lower drive.
We have been having lots of varied thrush and saw a flicker this morning. We have had some dark-eyed juncos also.
There have been a lot of red tailed hawks in our area the last few weeks also. It is fun to hear them call when I am outside working [when it is warm enough to do that - weather is currently cold!]
