We have NO SNOW up here in upstate New York! I was raking up some old leaves in my yard on New Year's Day. That is a first! I have noticed that there is more daylight now that the winter solstice has past, but I'm not going to be fooled by the mild temperatures - I know there is a lot more winter to come! The flocks of mallards behind my house are happy that the river hasn't frozen over yet - they do enjoy splashing in the freezing cold water...brrr! We would love to be email pals with another school! We are kindergarteners, so I guess I'd be doing much of the emailing!
