Hummingbird, Other Species Sighted

Date: 01/06/2011

Number: 1

We do not know what species of Hummingbirds are coming daily. Three are red and brown...the red is not an orange red nor is it a rust color, but a beautiful true red, maybe even closer to ruby colored. This red is on their backs and wings and head. We've looked at pics on the internet and cannot find any pics that look like these, though I'm sure the pics just look different from real life sightings.
As I said, we have had 4 that come daily from a.m. to p.m., and now another has arrived. It is even redder than the other two. The other two have green backs, and light breasts with no red or any other color that we can see. If anyone knows what they are, we'd love to know. In the Spring and Summer we have several green and grey and also ruby throated, so we've never seen these red ones before.
