We have a good numner of bald eagles wintering in the area with a sanctuary south of here. They are regularly observed along the Baraboo River and the Wisconsin River. When in the south central Wisconsin area you can stop at the Sauk/Prairie observation site down river from the hydroelectric damn and watch them fish. I see them sitting in the trees and fishing by my home along the Baraboo river also.
