Today we planted tulips out in our meadow at the end of the nature trail. We had help from parent volunteers and teachers. We planted them in a raised, wooden bed that had soil in it. We dug it 7 inches deep, because that is the way we are supposed to for this project. Our bed has a grid of pink string to make coordinates for planting. We know exactly where each of our tulip bulbs are planted by using the letters and numbers on the grid. It may snow this weekend and cover the bed. We would like to see that!
