Observed a large wave (approximately 100 robins along with approximately 50 Mountain Blue Birds in the wave) feasting on pear berries in my large pear trees. First time I have noticed Mountain Blue Birds in the same flock as Robins. We are located in the foothills of the mountains at the beginning of the Mojave Desert, approximately 50 miles northeast of Los Angeles.
