I have seen Robins in flocks of 15-20 in my backyard several times during the month of December 2010. It seems the flock appears the day or two before a big snow/weather change prediction. (usually it's snowed 4"=7" after the sighting) They eat from the ground, drink and bathe in the bird bath and perch in the trees. This morning, 01/18/11, a lone robin was in the backyard ground eating. I say gound feeding because I have seen them at the feeder on occasion.
