Established within the 100 year old, five acre historic Chickasaw Freedman Heritage Center, church and cemetery grounds, the New Jerusalem Community hosts five different gardens and a giant 30 foot Monarch caterpillar bordering one large garden. Host and nectar perennials for Monarchs and other pollinators will be in second year in 2011, and annuals are reseeding to make this a wonderful spring and fall respite for the Monarch travelers. We will be hosting a fourth annual Monarch Migration Festival there Sept. 24th, 2011.
