It was nearing dusk today as I walked my dogs along a pine wind break at the edge of our yard. I heard the flutter of wings, then, what I thought was a Robins chirp. Our activity scared up perhaps 100 robins. They flew to a nearby, large spruce tree, then out to a plowed field. I was shocked since I don't remember ever seeing robins here this time of year.
