Robin (WAVE seen)

Date: 01/28/2011

Number: 1

Today was the first day this season that a flock of 50-75 Robins was gathered and feeding in my yard, both in the grass and around my butterfly gardens as well as in the empty treed lot behind my home. Many were also drinking at the waterfall of my pond. One or two were seen bathing in the headwaters of my waterfall. There were a small number of Cedar Waxwings with them. Robins in my yard always seem to be accompanied by Cedar Waxwings. They were observed in the early morning.
