We were overwhelmed by an influx of red-winged blackbirds in our backyard feeder. We have had the feeders for 4 years and have mostly had blue jays and cardinals and NEVER redwings. This season so far NO bludjays, very few cardinals and hundreds of redwings. In light of recent news reports about redwings, we thought this might be noteworthy.
