I observed the sprightly, little Blue-Grey Gnatcatcher happily catching flying insects up in the canopy of my neighbor's old oak tree. He/She has been here for approximatley 4 months now and seems to like the atmosphere. He was using his tail very sussessfully to scatter the insects, then devoured them in flight!
