Last of my caterpillars left the milkweed on 1/31/11. About seven days ago we had a warm spell and many butterflies were out and one layed eggs on the milkweed so I suspect we will have a new batch of monarch caterpillars soon. My milkweeds are starting to "recover" from the summer and fall chomp fest and growing back leaves just in time for the spring.
