Saw the wave on my walk around the Mill Creek Project, USACE, east of Walla Walla.
The wave was small probably around 50 birds. Saw several other clusters, round 5, roosting. Time was near sunset. Past experience is 5 -10,OOO robins will roost in the area in front of a reservoir dam in a strip of trees and tall shrubs. Usual time for the big wave is around President's Day.
