Hundreds of robins in our yard and the surrounding neighborhood for the past two weeks mostly eating the ripe black berries of our catalina cherry tree. Some of them looking for food on the ground. When the red shouldered hawk of our neighborhood screamed, they all flew off in unison, then a few minutes later they would all come back to start feeding on the berries again. This morning 2/4/11 almost every berry is gone and all the robins are gone too.
