Saw first robin today in Watseka, IL (02-05-11). I was very excited because I'm ready for spring! He was sitting in a tree and it was snowing here so that was odd to see him there, but it was definitely a pleasant reminder that spring is on it's way. This is the earliest i have ever seen a robin around here, usually it is sometime around the first days of March.
