We've seen at least 50 robins and different assorted birds (i.e. some cardinals and another bird with a black back and white stomach) which have surrounded our house. They are in the trees in the front and back yard, and also in a rivene behind our house. The icicles lining our roof have been dripping, making the ground softer around the edges of the house, where a lot of the robins have been gathering. The robins around our house usually haven't come until spring is about to arrive, but with two feet of snow on the ground and just getting over the blizzard that hit the midwest, seeing these robins is unusual. We're wondering if we're in the middle of some kind of migratory pattern.
