With the promise of a 50 degree day ahead, just this morning on the way to church I said "The robins will be here any minute!" Of course I was just kidding, although from signs I have observed, we will have an early spring. How exciting to pull into my driveway after church and one of the neighbor's trees was full of - you guessed it - robins!!!! There were about 30 of them and they seemed to be discussing who gets what yard again this year. A short while later they had all dispersed throughout the nearby yards. These are "my" robins. I can tell that they feel at home in the woods in the back of my house - rubbishing around, throwing up leaves and pulling up the worms. I can't wait for the singing to begin!!!
