We have approx. 8 to 10 inches of snow on the ground. On the 28th of January I observed 2 robins. On February 6th, I observed cottonwood trees in our yard with serveral dozen robins. These birds don't typically arrive in our area until mid to late March. I was quite surprised and frankly happy to see these industrious birds already in our area. However, the temperatures this time of year flucate but typically stay in the teens to 30's. Ground is still covered with snow, so I don't believe there is much earthworm activity. We do have berries in trees and on bushes.
