Hundreds of Robins arrived at the same time, following a 1 inch snowfall and moderate winds. Temperature of 23F to 30F. They are gathering around the water puddles in the roads. They appear to be ignoring the seed mix in the feeder as they join the mourning doves, sparrows and starlings in the backyard mulberry trees and pine trees.
I've lived at this location since 1990 and have never seen more than 8 or 10 robins in the yard at any time.
