Ms. Wiggins' third grade class, 3B was excited to find out today that 10 of the tulips (half) have emerged! They range in size from 1cm to 8 1/2 cms. Students used the following adjectives in their observations: green, white tipped, pointy, smooth, skinny, sticky, rough and moist. Studens were wondering why 9 out of the 10 tulips were on the same side of the planter (the right side). They suspected it had something to with more exposure to sunlight.
