today I was walking to the book store when a hummingbird smacked me on the side of my head. I think I hurt it more than it hurt me. the bird had a red throat and a shiny green body. it was pretty small and had a tiny curved beak. the hummingbird was lying on the ground and would occasionally twitch. it, right now is in the north carolina hummingbird rescue in emerald isle.
