I've lived in this area for 20yr and I have been a "Birder" for that long also. This is the first winter I have ever seen flocks of Robins on my Profusion Crab tree, 25 to 30 or more. I have put out sliced oranges and raisins. I have been sighting and recording migrations in my own backyard for the last 12 years, but feeding and planting for the birds for 20 yr. I have a picture of a rare sighting of a European Goldfinch that has been documented at University of Michigan, that came to my backyard back in 3/29/06, stunning!!
