A very large young Bald Eagle was spotted by me and three of my co-workers today around 3pm about 2 miles inland of Lake Erie on the Grand River, on the Southern border of Fairport Harbor. I really had no idea what it was as the vultures have been gone for a few months now and the bird was very large and had lots of white coloring on the underneaths of the wings but still a dark colored tail and head. After some research we have concluded that this is most likely a young bald eagle. Also we have Blue Herring here and it was for sure not one of those or a vulture.
