I saw two separate small waves of robins this afternoon. Both had about 2 dozen robins in the group. One group was about 25 miles east of Council Bluffs, IA and the other group about 10 miles farther east.
In addition, another sign of spring,I heard a cardinal singing this morning. We have had plenty of cardinals all winter but the have been quiet, so I was pleased to hear on calling this morning.
Our temperature got up to 40 today for the first time in a while. It is to stay warm for a week or so at least, warm being 40's and maybe some 50's. That is warm compared to what we have been having. :-)
