Bald Eagle has been around the area for the last several weeks - we thought it was an eagle last week but couldn't get close enough. Today we got close enough to get several photos - and it is definitely a Bald Eagle: Dark body, white head and tail, yellow beak and talons. Looks to be maybe 30+" in body length based on comparing it to tree limbs that he/she uses as a perch. We live in a suburban area on a gold course and the eagle is spending time in the green belt area behind our house.
