The 4th-5th grade Explorers planted one dozen red emperor tulip bulbs, one dozen daffodil bulbs, and one half dozen hyacinth bulbs donated by a local nursery. After many cold days in 2011, this was the first day of temperatures above 45 degrees F. although very windy.
