We saw one single robin in our tree this morning, puffing up his feathers and trying to stay warm. The temps were just above freezing, though it has continued to warm throughout the day. We thought we heard the robins singing on 02/13/11 (two days ago), the first birds songs we had heard all winter, but we couldn't see the birds anywhere. We'll be listening carefully for their songs now that we know what they mean. Thank you! This is such a fun addition to our classroom!
