We have never witnessed such a spectacle! A continuos wave of robins passing overhead for 3/4 of an hour until dark. Clear skies and full moon. As dusk set in, it seemed they were flying higher. We are right on the gulf shore of Florida and they were flying right over the shoreline. Their numbers must have been easily in the hundreds of thousands
