How appropriate that on Valentine's Day we would observe the tiny red tips of our Tulips just starting to poke out of the ground. We measured our soil temperature which was 44 degrees F and our air temperature which was 50 degrees F. We are planning on taking soil and air temperatures daily to track the growth of our tulips. Everyone was very excited to see our tulips start to emerge.
