I have two milkweed plants that I put in. The two Monarchs I reported were hatched from cocoons spun by caterpillars from those same milkweed plants last fall. Had another cocoon hatch Sunday Feb. 13th. But milkweed here in Baton Rouge is still dormant--no new leaves yet, because we've been having a series of hard freezes.
