Red-winged Blackbird (FIRST sighted)

Date: 02/14/2011

Number: 1

We have never been very aware of this bird until this year. We feed alot of creatures in our front yard, but this year, HUNDREDS of them are being fed in our yard. It is really quite overwhelming, and the other creatures that feed here are NOT happy. This bird is very noisy and fills every tree in our front and backyard. We can go outside and clap our hands loudly and all is completely quiet for about 5 to 10 seconds. Frankly we hope this bird will fly north soon. We can not afford to feed them all spring ad summer.
