When we looked yesterday, there wasn't a tulip to be seen. But today after lunch, someone spotted a big tall tulip, fully bloomed, in our tulip bed. Mrs. Carter's class went running out to investigate--Dr. Weaver was being a trickster and had put a silk flower into the bed, just to fool us! As we looked around, though, we saw that about 7 of our bulbs are showing their tips. So we have emerged! And it's supposed to be 70 degrees for the next few days, so we expect to see many more tulips very soon.
