We have had many snow days. Daffodils emerged several weeks ago and we thought the tulips might have emerged. We went out and first saw a few blades of grass. I explained that tulips have thick leaves. We looked more closely and found 3 tulips. We went and brought another class out to look. We then found 10 others poking through the soil. It's as if they appeared as we watched. How cool is that?
