Since the 16th of Feb., I have been seeing male Rubys, both mature and immature, at my feeders and nectaring on my flowers.
I do believe that the migration north has started as the Rufous were able to keep the Rubys out of my yard this winter. I feel certain that these are not the same birds each day from size and appearance.
